Hawaii Prince Golf Clubs: Designed by golf legend Arnold Palmer, this 90 bunker, 10 lakes, and 27 greens golf course is sure to satisfy the experienced or amateur golfer. There are an interchangeable nine holes making it easy to tailor to your skill level and offers stunning views of the rain-carved Waianae Mountains.
Ko Olina Golf Course: Oahu’s premier golf experience is a challenging 18-hole course and home to the LPGA LOTTE Tournament. Fit for a champion, Ko Olina is one of Golf Digest “Top 75 Resort Course in the U.S.” It features exceptional water features, multi-tiered greens, large landing areas, and is perfect for beginners and experts alike.
Turtle Bay: This golfers paradise was designed by Arnold Palmer and George Fazio – two of the most well know names in golf and architecture. The Palmer course features dense wetlands, contoured tree-lined fairways, and amazing ocean views. Turtle Bay Golf Course is located 45 minutes from downtown Honolulu on Oahu’s North Shore.
Moanalua Golf Course: This breathtaking course is where famed aviator Amelia Earhart landed her plane. Known as the “Royal and Ancient Home of Hawaii Golf,” Moanalua is Hawaii’s oldest golf course since 1898. This challenging 18-hole course is set on a massive fairway, overlooking the Moanalua valley.
Waialae Golf Course: This is the only golf course and club in Hawaii to receive the prestigious Platinum Clubs of America Honor award. It’s known for superb amenities and facilities, excellent staff, and an overall fantastic golfing experience. It’s also home of the annual Sony Championship.
Ko’olau Golf Course: It’s one of the most unique golf courses in the U.S., and also one of the most challenging. This 18-hole course is set at the base of the Ko’olau Mountain range and is surrounded by amazing scenery. If you’re looking for a top-notch golfing experience, this is it!
Ala Wai Golf Course: If you’re looking for a less mountainous course, Ala Wai is flat but sporty. It’s located on the outskirts of Waikiki along the Ala Wai Canal. This is a busy yet relaxed 18-hole course, perfect for a friends and family outing.
Ewa Villages Golf Course: Due to high winds and skinny fairways, this municipal course is a great challenge for the skilled and precise golfer. It’s surrounded by lakes, streams, and some rough landscapes. Ewa Villages Golf Course is located about 50 minutes from Waikiki hotels.
The Pali Golf Course: This 18-hole course is located on the Windward side of Oahu approximately seven miles from downtown Honolulu at the foot of the Ko’olau mountain range. Its hillside location makes it a challenging course, but it’s definitely worth the 30 minute drive from Waikiki hotels for its spectacular surroundings.
Ted Makalena Golf Course: A hidden gem located in the community of Waipahu on a peninsula into Pearl Harbor, this 18-hole course is about 15 miles from downtown Honolulu and is a great spot for golfers of all experience levels. It’s a flat course with sparse fairways, and one of the best municipal courses in Hawaii.
